Orange also works with all shades of gray, and lots of browns and taupes. If you're color bold, with plum, teal, green, or pink. </p> <p>The one hesitation I'd have about orange and navy is that it's a rare person who looks good in both colors. I'm great in orange but navy washes me out and makes me look ill. For summer/spring add a pop of white - brilliant. I have a Jcrew orange and navy striped s/s sweater (I think Aida has the long sleeve version). Blue and Orange are opposite on the color wheel so they "work" together beautifully. I'm also happy about Orange making a resurgence.
