				<description>&#060;p&#062;I don't know where the skirt is at this point.  It is a size 10 and they do run large.  I bought it for my daughter as a gift and she didn't like the way it looked on her.  That is why I want to return it.  She put it in the mail to them the same day I found out that I wasn't going to get a refund until after the court has it's way.  I asked them to send it back but don't have it yet and the gal I had talked to no longer answers her phone line.  Sooo.  I haven't heard back from my credit card company yet either.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Unfortunately, when a company declares certain types of bankruptcy, this does happen.  It happened with the Bombay Company a few months--people who had gift cards couldn't even use them anymore.  It isn't just online stores--it's with any store that might go bankrupt where you run this risk.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;If you don't get your skirt back from them I think disputing the charge is a great idea.  If you do receive it, you probably won't have any luck if you dispute the charge, since you actually received the merchandise.  But you can always try!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I called my credit card company and they said the payment hasn't gone through yet and they will have a manager call me back with how this might all work out.  The fellow on the phone said they've been dealing with the bankruptsy issue with their customers who bought airline tickets and the airline went bankrupt.  This happened to my best friend a few weeks ago and her credit card company insured the money so she was not charged for the tickets.  Maybe it will be the same for me and my skirt issue.  Thankyou for the great advice Ola.

And I thought I had a reason to be frustrated when I learned that the $125 skirt was reduced by 50%, and I was unable to get an adjustment or return it (all sales are final at this point.) But your case is much worse, because you obviously won't wear both skirts... I would try to sell the one that doesn't fit. At least it's a real nice skirt so you might find a willing buyer.

&#060;p&#062;Well, Nicole does have a point about retail hurting everywhere.  Online shopping can be scary, but this is really the first time I've heard of this sort of thing happening, I don't think it's common, especially if you stick to national, well-known brands like BR or J. Crew or Ann Taylor, etc.  Nau did have some retail stores.  I know Antje got the same skirt at a store in Seattle.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Does anyone you know wear the size that doesn't fit?  It would make a really nice gift....a daughter or sister perhaps?  That denim skirt is really cute!

I doubt they would go bankrupt or anything like that, but it was still a surprise to me.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;It is not looking good for the NAU company.  I had ordered the $125 jeans skirt in 2 different sizes and then they went bankrupt.  Now they can't issue a refund for the one I want to return.  The gal on the phone said that if I want to return it for cash it could take up to a year for the court to sort it all out and then it would be the court that decides how much of a refund everyone gets.  I asked them to just send it back in that case and I'd find someone who could wear it.    I don't want to get wrapped up in that mess so just hope to get the skirt back.&#060;br /&#062;
Hope no one else had this happen.  The gal on the phone was so nice and understanding.  She said she had a job with them on Tues and on Thurs she had to clean out her desk and at that point she was actually working for the debtors.  For the last 2 days she doesn't answer the phone so maybe that also has ended.  What a mess.  Hope I'm not just plain out my $125.  Makes internet shopping scary.
