I find them relaxating. I'm not that dirty that it makes the water go brown, and I kind of 'shower' my whole body before I start filling the bathub up anyways. Like you mentioned, they don't feel clean to me. Also, sitting around breathing in steam makes me feel lightheaded and a bit nauseous. Clearly I don't like the combination of heat and humidity.
