The fabric is not knit but does have some stretch to it. There are no button in dickey cuffs so the sleeve length alteration should be easy. The dickey is a creamy white color. There did appear to be a problem with the zipper on the dickey of one of the sizes I tried. A little sticky. It wasn't the size I needed fortunately. </p> <p>The jacket is FAB! The stripes give it kind of a David Bowie-esque vibe.
