Ah Angie, you aren't helping me resist the TT military coat I've bookmarked it and the Adidas peacock jacket to check for popbacks. If it wasn't meant to be, then that's a sign too.

I really hope the James Perse jacket works out though, and if I can only keep one between the JP and the TT, the sweatshirt jacket is way more seasonally appropriate for me.

Thanks for the sizing advice on the Caslon jeans. I have more of a waist than usual at my current weight, but my figure is still pretty straight and I don't have much room to size down (just noticed that 26 = 4 in their size chart, not 26 = 2 like I'm used to).

Pass on the TT trench - funny fit.

The TT coat is the BEST coat at the NAS. Get a petite maybe.

All the shoes are good and top picks.

The Caslon jeans run very, very big. Not good on straight figures.

Great items! I love the TT wool coat but if I didn't wear coats most of the year I would have passed. I think you have a good plan. But that swimsuit, oh my. I don't wear swimwear and it has me taking a second look.

These are really nice items but I think you are wise to resist them. You did well with your choices.

I do like the bathing suit, though -- rare to find a higher necked one and I like the waist shaping on it.

In case anyone needs enabling, here are some items that I definitely don't need but kind of love, or otherwise edited out of my first order.

1) The black military Trina Turk coat is already sold out in my size, which is good because I absolutely don't need another heavy wool coat. I have a blush J.Crew lady day coat for dressy occasions and a flattering red puffer coat for warmth, both of which only get pulled out when I travel to colder climes in the wintertime. The wool coat was only worn a few times last winter.

Of course, having said that I still want it, and if much of my first NAS order doesn't work out then I'd have the budget for it. Would be a better travel coat than the blush JC, and I do spend a lot of time on airplanes when I get to wear a wool coat these days...

2-3) Not filling a need for me as a raincoat without a hood--I already have a dressy trench--but I thought this Trina Turk rain coat was very pretty in both the navy and the red.

4) Blondo waterproof OTK boots - I already have knee-high black leather boots, waterproofed enough for me (especially in drought-ridden CA), that I like with skirts but rarely wear. Not convinced that OTK boots would change that trend.

5) Munro Abby sandals - I know these would be super comfortable, but I decided the style was a bit too classic for a summer wedding shoe on someone my age (mid twenties). And I still hate the velcro strap.

6) Cole Haan Dellora flats - elegant and refined but maybe a bit too prim? Something about the style feels stiff to me. I may try them anyway if the VC perforated flats don't work out.

7) Gentle Souls Claire leather sneaker - an alternative to the UGG high tops that I ordered. I chose the UGG's for the customizable ankle fit but these are very nice too.

8) This Halogen fit and flare dress looked so amazing on Kari that I was tempted. But my figure is closer to the model's and she looks pretty rectangular in it. I just don't have the bust or hips to fill this style out.

9) Caslon cotton shirtdress - teal plaid prints always tempt me. But my dress capsule is full and I usually want to feel a bit dressier when I wear a dress these days.

10) Caslon release hem skinnies - these come in a 24" petite inseam, which is rare for released hems. I'm more drawn to the wide-leg cropped look right now, though.

11) Not sure why swimwear is in the NAS! There's a good selection this year. I love how the print narrows the waist visually. But even in Hawaii this week I've only used one of the two swimsuits I packed, so I certainly don't need another one.

Someone please talk me out of the TT coat if I make any more moves toward it!
