The waist is unusually nipped and the hips are unusually flared, so it doesn't fit like the usual staid blazer. (2Ps are often too tight in the arms and pull at the bust on me, and this jacket was no exception.) I tried on a 2P and it fit perfectly, except the sleeves may have been a 1/4" too short. When I tried on the Halogen plaid blazer in a 2P, the sleeves were way too short. I could have gone home with the VC in 2P, but decided to order both of these jackets in a 2 regular and hopefully they'll work out okay. I did get the Halogen pants in a 2P as that was a perfect fit. I know your question is about VC, but I just wanted to add the dressing room comparisons of these two brands. It followed me home!</p> <p>I got a size 8 regular, which is pretty much my size for tailored pieces. I'm a S or M (but mainly M) depending on the cut.
