A quick try on of the merlot drapey topper from BlankNYC. It’s definitely a keeper. It went well with my NAS colorblock sheath (same burgundy shade) and my navy sheath, but I especially loved it with jeans. It got my husband’s and my cat Bruce’s approval (bonus picture of Bruce helping identify what it might go with in my closet). It is a bit towards a purple burgundy and color doesn’t go with my MM La Fleur skirt — but I prefer more color contrast anyways. </p> <p>Unfortunately the olive moto will be going back. Love the color and feel, but the fit was slightly off, which is not unusual with regular size tops on me. It wasn’t cropped (or long) enough to fit proportionally with my outfits. No photos taken, but it’s true to the Nordstrom pictures. I am still on the look out for a moto jacket — in a petite cut — for this fall, but I am sure more options will come as more stores bring out their fall lines. Returning two floral tops, a pair of tall boots (too wide in calf) and a pair of wrongly shipped shoes. </p> <p>Two BlankNYC items were ordered later and have been shipped but not yet arrived. One is a drapey suede cardigan in Merlot and the other is a dark olive moto jacket. I’ve seen both of them in person but my size/color was not in stock, so I expect these to be successes. </p>
