Thank you all for your kind comments regarding the boots.   Preppy Pear, I briefly thought about keeping both pairs of boots, because I do love the looks of the Pikolinos as well, but I have an older and very comfortable pair of chelsea boots that I can have re-soled and I will be quite happy with that solution. Firecracker, the blazer does not button.  The sleeves are ruched so length is not an issue.  The blazer is currently sold out in a smaller size but I'm a great stalker so I will keep an eye out for an XS.  I have a feeling that my shoulders will be too wide for that fit, though.  Like Suz, I may be between sizes. Chouette22 I welcome a meetup! Susie the top is a layering top and is what I would likely wear.  You make a good point of trying the jacket on with a sweater to see how that feels. I have the Pikolinos and am very happy with them. But I've always loved lace up boots and I love patent leather so the AGL are appealing even though combat boots aren't my style (and I prefer silver rather than gold hardware) On second thought, not tough at all.......it sounds like the AGL make your heart sing so I say those are the right choice for you! They are pricey but the sale price certainly helps. And if you love them you will likely wear them often.  The jeans look great on you and the sweater is a lovely shade of pink. I would not have said that the blazer looks too big without you questioning it. Is a size down available just to compare? How does it feel? I think the the patent combats do suit your style and would be great for that high/low contrast style. I love the blazer - it looks amazing. I think the fit is right on. Shoulder pads are a fun shape but look subtle to me. Sweater and jeans look great, too! The AGLs are gorgeous - if they are comfortable and a good fit, there you have it! Not being waterproof, I could see myself wearing winter boots on my commute and being more likely to change into flats at work rather than carry another pair of boots. YMMV, but for me, the AGLs wouldn’t get much wear during a good chunk of the winter. But I still wouldn’t let that stop me if they made me happy - they will last for many years and will be great on non-slushy days. My only caveat/ concern would be the absence of a zipper, which makes them fussier to get on and off, but if that does not annoy you, then go with them, assuming you've considered the fact that they are not waterproof. They're such a stylish boot. I love the Pikolinos, too, but these are in another category in terms of fun.  Adore the longline jacket and you are making me wish I brought one home after all! It looks great on you. What I found with this style was that the sizing was tricky for me. I took an XS in the jacket version of this but had to size up to a S in the longline to accommodate my hips, which made the fit elsewhere a bit off -- not badly so -- I could have worn it -- but I did feel "between sizes" -- which is why I ended up with the shorter jacket instead. It is definitely intended to be an 80s oversized look and you wear it very well. I would try the size down to compare if you can --  The sweater is really lovely on you, also! I love an oversized comfy sweater that I can reach for often and I believe this fits the bill.  I do not have this color in my wardrobe so that is also a plus.  The real battle here is choosing between these boots.  I initially thought I would keep the Pikolinos due to their padded comfiness water resistance but after trying this on for my significant other both of us are feeling a strong preference for the AGL combat boots.  These are spendy for me but I have been wanting a pair of combat boots for quite some time and am willing to go there.  I love the edgy mix of the combat boot paired with the oversized gold eyelets and velvet laces.  I feel like they are such a statement piece.  I'm leaning towards keeping the AGL and returning the Pikolinos but would love everyone's thoughts. Picture 3: 1 State longline blazer with Kut from the Kloth jeans.  Loved the jacket the moment I put it on.  Another look at the boots. Picture 4: Kut from the Kloth high waisted bootcut jeans.  I did not take time to style these jeans well.  Simply threw them on with a top and the Marc Fisher booties from last year's NAS that I will hem them for.  I recently gained some weight so these are a bit snug on me, but I'm determined to take it off after this vacation and I have a closet full of Kut from the Kloth jeans as it is my go to brand that rarely fails me.  I like the slimming effect of these bootcuts. Picture 5,6 & 7 is another look at the longline blazer styled with Vince Camuto ponte pants from a previous NAS  and another look at both pairs of boots. This would be a work uniform for me.  Wondering if the jacket looks too big and need tailoring from the back view? Thoughts? This is my first time posting pictures and I look forward to any comments or suggestions, especially regarding the boots.  I have been a long time lurker on this forum and have gained so much inspiration from all of you.
