But I really like what I kept, and it fits, and works for my life. </p> <p>Now, when I see someone wearing the AGL oxfords, for example, I won't be envious because I know that as nice as they are, and they are very nice, they aren't right for my feet.</p> <p>Oh, I forgot one other thing I bought: grey wool beret. I just didn't like the zipper around the front of the hood of the Laundry coat, and it was too shiny for me. Also, I had cinched up the waist of the North Face coat, making it hang in a funny way. When I uncinched the waist, I thought it looked pretty good, actually.</p> <p>The oxfords were a disappointment, but I ended up finding a beautiful pair of silver oxfords on Zappos (Summit White Mountain Dawson) that I can't wait to wear.</p> <p>I've worn the Adidas several times already. I like the casual look, not to mention the comfort. And they look a lot better than my Salomon hiking shoes.</p> <p>Thanks to Angie for her guidance (and finds) and everyone for your thoughtful comments. I think I'm shopped out for awhile. My credit card came close to being mortally injured by my purchases. </p>
