Aquamarine-Hello! *waves* It's nice to hear I am not the only one who layers for warmth under sweaters.

Angie-I'll have to play around with layering under the blue sweaters. I have not tried them with a camisole, thanks for the idea. It looks like I have refreshed my sweaters nicely at this years NAS. This might be my best NAS ever this year!

I'm sensitive to wool too Lisa, and this year's NAS was particularly good for non-wool sweaters.

YLF's first Queen Blue looks best in both blue sweaters! Have you tried to wear them without a tee? Too revealing? How about a pretty cotton lace camisole to offset the plunge?

The cream cabled cardigan is an on trend pretty winner!

And you wear the earth toned stripes just fine. Not as good as blues, pinks, teals, and purples - yet I GET that you feel like a change! :)

You’ve had a good NAS and it’s fun to see you post again with that same great smile! I like the blue sweaters and I always layer under all sweaters…I’m always way too cold to have loose air around my body…so I think the deep v-necks with something underneath is fine.

kellygirl-One reason why I've been struggling to decide with the ivory cardigan is because it's cotton (a plus for sensitive skin) but it's also a color I don't wear often (and I'm trying to see if my eye needs to adjust or if it's just a miss). I adore both blue sweaters so I'm planning to keep them, the past few years of NAS were a bust for me, this year seems to be making up for it. :)

MsMaven-A great point, how I feel in the sweaters. I like them all, but I am still undecided about the ivory cardigan because the white clashes with the ivory. I've tried a few other colors of tanks underneath but the white is the best of the bunch. I'm leaning towards return for this one.

April-I have learned if I can't layer a t underneath a sweater, I can't wear it. This is one reason why I stay away from shawl collared cardigans, they ALWAYS rub against the back of my neck.

RobinF-I'm leaning to keeping both sweaters because they are both shades of blue, which is a core color of my wardrobe.

unfrumped-Great insight on layering with vnecks. I like a preppy vibe, so I don't mind layering a t underneath a vneck sweater. But I was curious if the deep v on these needed a t underneath with a lower neckline. I did some google searching and see lots of photos with higher necklines layered underneath vnecks, even turtlenecks, so I think I'm good now.

Just as outfits, I prefer the Glacier color , if you wear a lot of dark bottoms, because of the contrast ( though navy sweater to give “ column of color “ also has benefits ) and because it seems to work well with your coloring. A problem I have with the deep V- necks, aside from the fact that I can’t wear them!- is that they read dressier, “ sexier” ( a good thing) without a layer filling the V, but more casual and preppy if wear a tank/ T or collared shirt under. So both the use of them and the color choice benefits depend on how one will wear them.

I am not going to be any help because I like them all. I don't see a problem with the warmer tones on you, to me they look nice with your hair. I think I would be tempted to keep both v-neck sweaters. They are pretty basic and could be worn for a long time. Great finds!

Ooh, Glacier Blue. Sounds heavenly.

The itch factor would give me pause as well - I find my itchy pieces get reached for less often because of that necessity of layering with something that will also protect my neck from the collar, which is where the itch drives me most crazy.

It's hard for me to be objective, because I like all of these items. I've been attracted to the striped card in this tan sugar color. I also love #2 in the ivory, but then, plain white doesn't look good on me, so I assume we don't have close enough to the same coloring.

I really like the color in #5 on you. I vote you keep this one.

The most important factor for me is: How do YOU feel in these colors?

I love the fit of the Caslon Diamond cable sweater! Seems like a great neutral and very different from the Vince. The Vince is gorgeous btw. Both shaker colors look really good - the Coastal reads as black on screen and looks great with the boots. The lighter blue reads more casual. Afraid I'm not much help when everything looks so good!

Hello.

Besides the Angie's picks sweaters I show in this post, I did try a few others, both by Caslon and Vince. The jeans and boots I'm wearing in these photos I talked about in this post.

1. Caslon Pima Cotton Cardigan in Tan Sugar - Ivory Cloud Stripe

I am sensitive to a lot of the fabrics used in sweaters so when I see sweaters with 100% cotton I usually give it a try. I meant to take this photo with my brown leather Ecco sneakers from last year's NAS but I forgot to swap the shoes (I put them in the find below though). I am wondering about the color of this cardigan on me. It looks nice for fall, but is it too earthy for me?

2. Caslon Diamond Cable Knit Cardigan in Ivory Pristine

This is another 100% cotton sweater that caught my eye because of the fabric content. But again I am wondering about the color. This one can't be worn without a tank underneath, unlike the Vince one from my other post. I'm leaning towards no for this one, because the Vince is a nice bright white and this is more creamy/ivory. But cotton sweaters are hard to find.

3. Shaker Stitch V-Neck Wool & Cashmere Sweater in Coastal

I owned a previous version of this sweater in a green color I wore for years, until it pilled more than a fabric shaver could handle. It's one of the few wool and cashmere blend sweaters I can wear, if I wear a long sleeve t underneath (I put my favorite layering t by Halogen in the finds below and I'm wearing with all the sweaters in this post except for the Ivory Caslon cardigan). This Coastal color sweater is a beautiful dark Navy in person. It's up for keep or return because I also got the Glacier color to try in the next photo.

4. Shaker Stitch V-Neck Wool & Cashmere Sweater in Glacier with Caslon Cotton Blend Joggers in Navy Blazer

This is the same sweater as the last photo, in the lighter blue/grey color called Glacier. In the stock photo it's paired with a gorgeous pair of Vince blue cargo pants, but they were not available in my size when I made the order. So I decided to try the sweater with these Caslon joggers instead.

5. Shaker Stitch V-Neck Wool & Cashmere Sweater in Glacier Blue
with Paige Denim
This is the same sweater in the previous photo. I realized it wasn't fair to ask which sweater to pick if I'm not showing them in the same outfit. I am strongly on team blue, which is why I am stuck on how to choose a sweater to keep. They are both shades of blue and a style/fit I
know I like. But do either look good enough to keep when I have to wear them with a long sleeve t underneath (in the stock photo the model isn't wearing a t underneath)?

Thanks for looking!
