Yes, Angie, I will model some stuff, especially since I anticipate having some K/Rs. Growing paranoid about that striped shift dress running so big, I think I will order it again two sizes down in addition to just one size down. So many orders, so many boxes.

Great reviews and you are being such a good inspiration about not keeping stuff that isn't quite right.

I've tried on both brands of knit blazers in petite sizes over the past several months and agree that the fits are off in all sizes. Don't know how Caslon could get it so wrong since they generally do petite sizing so well. The large petites in both brands fit like a 6 or 8 for someone 5' 5" so it seemed to me.

Donna, great review, and I enjoyed your funny comments. It sounds like the Halogen cardigan is a really good color for you. Would you tend to wear it over knit tops or woven blouses? If the former, it will probably work. If you want it to go over blouses, you may be constantly frustrated by the thinness of the knit.

Suz, I'm thinking long and hard about whether I'd really grab the red cardigan due to the narrow sleeves. The color is so gorgeous, but narrow sleeves are FUSSY. The Pleione cardi had loose sleeves -- so could just throw it on. The smaller (PXXS!) size should arrive Wednesday.

Okay. I've convinced myself the red cardigan is not a 10 for me and really isn't warm at all so it will go back. And now after YLF discussions, I'm thinking of the EF pullover below since I gave my wool sweaters to DD so I have none. (Actually they were too warm and had moth holes.) If it doesn't work on short me, it will go back too.

Donna, you are working hard at this! And I am so grateful for the reviews of several items...although convinced I will end up sending the Kate Spade back because I loathe monograms I didn't ask for! And in gold no less! FEH!!

The red sweater will look great on you. Mine hasn't arrived yet so I can't compare notes but I will be curious about the bunchy sleeve issue. Angie warned us.

I'm getting awfully tempted by the Halogen jacket after your comments and Diana's. It was great on her as well.

JayS: I consider my size to be PXS/PS or P2-4. PXS tends to fit my shoulders and arm length best but PS is better in arm width (fat arms). The PXS fit me like a sausage casing which isn't that unusual for me. The PS has room for a layer underneath, doesn't droop at the shoulders (maybe due to the shoulder pads?), and the sleeves are longer on me than the stock photo (which I consider a tad too short) but more like the length of the silver gray Bernardo jacket above. It is softer and has more drape than the photo may indicate. I would take a photo, but DH is napping in the bedroom.

JAileen: No grandkids so no soccer games! For outdoor theater, I take/wear my Eddie Bauer jacket. I have so much outerwear that I rarely wear. I generally walk only two or three blocks to public transportation and then wait on an indoor platform so it is not enough time to get really cold.

Sterling: I've ordered quite a bit, haven't I? And more stuff on the way. Much is just to try since my local store has so little in Petites, plus it's Wants more than Needs. My husband has been sick with lupus and now shingles so this has become my entertainment. . . .

Sounds like you're being very selective and that is a good thing. Love the red cardigan and cuff.
Question for you...I ordered the Halogen tweed jacket when it popped back in a S. (Hope it actually ships-fingers crossed.) How do you find the fit? TTS? Also, how is sleeve length? I wish a PS had been available but thought I should pounce when it became available. May keep an eye out for a petite size if the sleeves run long. THanks for any info you can provide.
Oh, and the Caslon blazer fit is very strange. It wasn't just one thing, it was everything. A shame because I love knit blazers.

You can't say I don't try!

1. BLANKNYC Moto: Yes; this works for a Petite, even one with short arms. I wear PXS or PS, and the S fit me. It is fairly heavy weight. It is going back because the color is more for a blonde or brown haired gal IMHO and I already have a silver pleather moto. At least on my monitor, the color is represented accurately.

2. This bracelet has two male snaps but only one female snaps so it is adjustable. My wrists are small; 5.5" or 5.75", and this fit.

3. Bernardo quilted jacket: This is definitely outer wear and runs big; the PXS is on its way to me but I'm not sure that I need such a heavy jacket. The PS was too big in the shoulders, arms, and length. I am 5' 1" but taller women may want to consider ordering in a Petite.

4. This long cardigan is a gorgeous true red, neither bluish nor orangeish. I need the smaller of my two sizes which means the arms are on the tight side. It is fairly lightweight so it shows the lumps of any shirt underneath. I'm on the fence.

5. Suz inspired me to order this scarf. It tends toward cranberry colored so its margins don't look great with the long cardigan. It has a nice drape. The killer for me is its big gold writing that says, "Kate Spade New York."

6. Another Suz inspiration. I'll have to watch for holes, but so far it's a keeper since it's not bulky which is my short neck's issue with many scarves.

7. I ordered two Caslon knit blazers, the black'n'white one and the dark burgundy one that looks like the navy one below. They pretty much didn't fit anywhere. I also tried on a different size at the store. Again, no fit at all. Note: Not part of NAS but currently on sale, I ordered the two Olivia Moon knit blazers below in my two sizes. They fit just as poorly. To cheer myself up and to remind me that it's the jackets and not me, I tried on again my Angie Pick Halogen tweed jacket. And all was well in the world. Another note: The Halogen jacket has small shoulder pads so maybe that's why it fits me so well.
