Too funny! I was going to say that if they aren't pretty comfy right out of the box, that's not the Paul Green I know. (The company really seems to make most of their shoes for my feet.) Admittedly, I haven't tried wearing them recently with the cardboard inserts. Though I have done that before, Thistle, just fyi.

Thistle, that's hilarious.

Angie, are the Franco Sarto loafers a top pick? Need a pair of slip-on shoes.

I ordered these too and don't find them as comfortable as they are supposed to be. I feel a weird sensation at the bottom of my feet, almost like I can feel the lug sole. The patent leather was soft but somehow wrinkly.

I actually find the Franko Sarto loafer more comfortable.

I ordered the AGL too. Eagerly waiting for them . I was also interested in these and the paul greens for their thick soles. Slippery floor at work as well.

We have super slippery floors at work. I am actually thinking about sneaking them in my bag and testing them at lunch :)

But I think these will be great.

And yup, I ordered my normal size. Once I got the cardboard thingy out, the shoe fit really well. And was really lightweight, especially for how clunky the soles look. Again, a bit "less than slipper comfortable" right now because it's a whole big shoe and I've been wearing sandals since June when it was finally warm enough to wear them!

So are you giving them a chance?
Mine were stiff at first and then molded to my feet. I kept my usual size for flats in PG. I will likely keep them but the very final decision will be made when the weather cools down. They do seem good for bad weather as they have good soles and the patent is more water resistant than regular leather.
I just have to test the shoes on wet tile to be sure they are not slippery.
Maybe we will be shoe twins?

Okay, so you can ignore this. I realized as I was taking the loafer off to return it that I had maybe, kinds sorta, left the little cardboard shaper thingy in the shoe.

So yeah, it clearly didn't flex right when I walked and was a touch too tight.

Removing said shaper thingy and trying the shoe back on did the trick.

*face palm*

Blaming it on the heat and the fussy toddler. :)

I really loved the look of these. I bought and returned a pair of Coach ones similar to this back in the spring because my feet cried when I put them on.

I know Paul Green is supposed to be comfort brand. While a little snug on one foot, they are a bit more snug on the foot I broke. I am wearing them around the house to see how they do.

These are patent leather, so I am assuming that they'll have no give with wearing.

Trying these on in sandal season is always a bit tricky for me as my feet are now acclimated to sandals. Come September, they'll be back in more constrictive footwear.

I love the look of them, but I'm leaning toward returning unless someone has experience with these and knows they'll have a little give in them for the formerly broken foot.
