Angie-Thanks!  And yes, my credit card has been smoking after NAS this year.  I've found a number of great pieces.  For the dress, to sport as a tunic, I would want it shorter, more mid thigh than it currently is.  I do adore the idea and am keeping an eye out for another non-traditional cardigan combination. AviaMariah-Thanks!  I actually don't think the dress is short enough if I wanted to sport it as a tunic.  Or it is too short, if I want to sport it on it's own as a dress. Jackiec-Thanks!  I agree, the cardigan is very soft.  A lot softer than the dress itself. Windchime-Thanks!  I will not keep the cardigan by itself, I only purchased it to pair with the dress as a twinset look.  The length of the dress itself is too short to stand as a dress on it's own, and too long to be a tunic paired with skinny jeans.  At least to my eye. Beth, Carole and Joy-Thanks!  The dress/cardigan as a twinset is a nice change from the standard shell/cardigan look. Was it a problem because the dress is short? It does seem to call for tights or leggings --is that a combo that works for your situations?  But I can see that if it takes too much trouble to style or is not the right weight for weather and so on, it is not good to keep. It is at least an "almost", so something to keep an eye out for. I've had the same experience a number of times. That being said, I think the dress and the cardigan actually look fantastic on you! The color and drape are super flattering. Do you know what it is about the dress that makes you hesitate?
