I spend so much more time at work than out partying, so I have to be careful to mostly purchase versatile items rather than pure "going out" items (which of course I have few of too.)</p> <p>I think that as long as I keep the top and the shoes very "smart", the skirt will be GREAT for work wear. E.g., a simple knit top/sweater, or a blouse tucked in, should be just the ticket. And nothing even slightly revealing or suggestive. Is leather on trend this fall? I had my NAS pre-sale appointment today, and bought the leather pencil skirt. (Didn't see it in the catalog, so I cannot link to an image, but it's online as part of the pre-sale skirts, from the Classiques Entiere dept.) I totally dig it, but sometimes I err, and I worry whether this is one of those cases, yikes. And given this is not a cheap item, I'd love to hear whether this is a good investment. I know leather skirts (and pants) come and go, and I really am only interested in this item at this point if it's on trend this coming season.</p> <p>BTW, love the NAS, very happy with my items (I'll try and write a forum post about them with pics). But I feel for those sales associates, who are already working their butts off, and the official sale is only starting Friday. And they all mumbled that they are already out of many sizes and items, and customers will likely be pretty ticked off on Friday... Oh dear.
