OK, keeping the medium! The waist is not a deal breaker, I don't need to look extra curvy at work, I just need to look like my clothes fit.

Thanks guys!

Ah, this is my perpetual small-medium top problem! It looks like the medium is working, after seeing the pic with your arms down. Great top on you -- I love Theory!

Hmmm. Now the armhole looks fine. The first time I looked at your pics, I thought the medium looked a tad loose at the waist. With a side zipper, it wouldn't be an easy alteration. So my next question is whether your tummy bloats a bit after dinner (and if this was a pre-dinner pic!) or at that time of the month? FWIW, a loose-ish waist wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but too much armhole gaping would be.

THe fabric is really stretchy - stretchy enough that I put it on the first time without noticing the zipper down the side.

Medium feels good on, although I wish it were narrower in the waist. (Small feels too small doing DonnaF's tests.) I think I'm doing something weird with my shoulder in these pictures - here's one with my arm by my side.

Does it have stretch? That might allow you to be comfortable in the small. How in the world did you get that blouse on? There must be a hidden zipper...somewhere? I have a Theory (mini dress that I cut into a) blouse that has no stretch and it is uncomfortable across the shoulder blades for anything other than sitting still. It's so pretty though. I should take the extra fabric to my tailor and see if she can put some gussets in or something. But I digress! I just don't want you to make the same mistake I did. If this blouse doesn't have stretch, you need the larger size I think.

Love the style, but not the armhole fit. Sometimes raising the shoulders fixes that problem, but not always.

I like the medium better but not the armhole fit. Have you put them through the sit-down, stretch-out, and self-hugging paces? That's where I think the small would probably pull and be uncomfortable.

Very nice blouse! I like the medium fit but I'm also having problems with the armhole gaping (in both sizes). Wondering how it appears IRL!

I like the fit of the medium better, except for the armhole gaping. I don't think this is the "perfect" blouse for that reason.
How comfortable is the small? It's common for a fitted top like this to stretch across the back when you raise your arms, and that stretching across the shoulder blades is the main thing giving me pause about the fit of the small. It might work for you. I'm assuming the fabric stretches, right? I do love the style on you.

Love the medium. The small fits but I think a little too short in the waist and the bust dart ends at an awkward place--at least to my eye. You look so fit!

I really like the way that the medium fits except for the armhole on the side pic. Is it a little too big? Or, is it just the way that you are holding your arm to take the pic that makes it look that way?
It is a beautiful blouse!

In my ongoing quest for the perfect white shirt, I ordered this Theory top in two sizes. Do either of them work?

1-3 is small.
4-6 is medium.
