I still wear them sometimes, but find the polyester material to be a bit uncomfortable, actually. It feels sort of "hot and sticky" after a day of wearing them. I totally sympathize- this is the same problem I always have in this day and age of higher rises - I always want to size up to get the waist to sit lower (and sometimes I have to size up regardless to get hips to fit) but that can make the crotch and rise droopy.
