I knew when I ordered it that I’d either love it or immediately send it back!<br /><div><br /><div><b>Joy, </b>you’re right; the sweater could be layered with the jacket and those blue jeans on a day many degrees colder than today. I didn’t realize how well the jacket would work with blue jeans; I only threw them on for contrast with the black sweater.&nbsp;</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Firecracker, </b>a bigger problem with the jacket that I only noticed when I went to hang it up is that there’s only one buttonhole! The lower button doesn’t have a buttonhole; it must have been an oversight. I haven’t had a basic black crewneck for several years and think this sweater will get a lot of wear.</p> <p>Second is the Treasure &amp; Bond mixed plaid jacket. It’s less of a huge statement piece than I’d feared it might be, and even though I’m not much for shoulder pads, I think I can live with these. It’s soft and warm at the same time. My only concern is the sleeve length; I wish they were a tad longer. I might use my Nordstrom alterations credit and have them lengthened, if possible.<div><br /></div><div>I just threw on blue jeans and navy espadrilles to try both items; neither are styled. I can imagine wearing the blazer with black leggings and ankle boots, among other ideas.</p> <p>The dog looked so sad that I was going outside without him that I had to include him in some of the pics. :)</div> </p>
