ETA I see the Allsaints also laces, so adding the last pair into consideration. I'd rather not fuss with laces at all, even with a zipper, though I do like the gold detailing. Rare to see gold detail on a boot.</p> <p>I would be open to a tan boot, as you know I do like my tan footwear too.&nbsp;&nbsp;I had to get rid of about 4 pair of boots when I decided I needed to go up a size, including one brown pair. Sob. Part of the issue is I am between a size 10 and 11, and only now are some brands carrying a 10 1/2. They are a rarity, and I’d often wear a 10 in more generous sizing. At this point I just made the leap to an 11 in all my shoes, not just tennis shoes as I wore them larger already.</p> <p>Below is my only remaining tan boot. From last years NAS. I almost kept the burgundy, but I could tell I was going to reach for these more often. Maybe not as fun as the burgundy, but more practical to my preferences. And the Marc Fisher black bootie I already have in a larger size that I will be keeping. They require lacing, which doesn't always work for me anymore. Also, because I have them is even more why I'd prefer something that is mid calf. Third find is the Blondo boot I'm trying to replace, and I do like the waterproof feature for when I take it traveling, though it's not an absolute dealbreaker. Fourth find by B.O.C. is one I used to have that showed the height I'm trying to replicate. I like to have a couple options for stompy boots, and I turn to the tall ones a lot with skirts. Which is good. My main goal is to find a replacement black boot for a Blondo pair I got 5-6 years ago during NAS. I've been gradually moving my shoes up one shoe size through attrition, and this is the last category that needs the size larger.</p> <p>Here are the items I'm currently considering.&nbsp;</p> <p>1-3 finds are all black boots. Can you tell I like a buckle detail? I'd like it to be waterproof if possible. I like the height of the Franco Sarto, though I've found most of their boots to slip in the heel. Mid calf boots seem harder to find the last couple of years.</p> <p>4-5 Caslon skirt in olive or navy. Hopefully the slit in front below the zipper isn't too exposing. I would pick one color or the other. It's rare to find a skirt with pockets large enough to hold a phone.</p> <p>6 Zella tee. Love the purple color. I'm guessing it might sell out before I get around to ordering, and it might be just long enough in front.&nbsp;</p> <p>7 socks. Not sure how thick these socks are. I like that they sell the socks in a size large, since I hate the feeling of too small socks</p> <p>8-9 Zella jogger. I like all the pockets this pant has. It would be good for my exercise class. I would just pick one color to try. I like black, but so does the cat hair in my house.</p> <p>If I were to get a sweater, I'd want it to be all cotton. I'd love to order the Bobbi Brown cream shadow or other makeup, but I won't order makeup or skincare via mail in summer months. It's 110 degrees here, and it would come to me a melty mess. But if anyone is wanting to try them, I'm a big fan of their cream shadows.</p> <p>I've also ordered a couple pair of black boots from DSW during the sale they have going on right now. Hopefully one of all of these black boots will work for me.</p> <p>Do you guys have your eye on anything in particular? I'm sure I'll end up ordering something I didn't even know I "needed", but I'm good about returning if it doesn't work out.</p>
