I have to wear solid black shoes for work, and right now I have a pair of Munro Mary Janes that I have worn to work just about every day for the last year. I did some early access shopping on-line, but didn't love most of it, so I looked a bit while taking care of returns. For reference, I'm a 14/16 on bottom and 12/14ish on top. I've recently lost some weight, so not sure what my current "true" size may be. (I originally had not planned on photos, so my 40+ face without makeup is not looking so fresh today!)</p> <p>First I tried the Rebecca Taylor fringed cardigan. I am a pear, but the fringe wasn't as bulky as I feared. It's very soft and not very heavy, so it would be nice for my Texas fall/winters. I'm wearing the large.</p> <p>Next I tried the EF sweater from Angie's picks. The drape and fabric are so much better than the stock photo. Nice light weight for me. I bought a large, but I did try the medium (last photo of me in sweater). I liked the fluid fit of the large best. </p> <p>I also tried the Topshop vest from Angie's picks. I went with the U.S. size 10, per the sizing chart - two sizes down from what I'd have instinctively picked. Any larger was just too big in the arm holes for me. Very versatile color, I much prefer it open on me.</p> <p>Last was my favorite - the Vince Cable Knit poncho. I tried the large and medium, bought the medium (in pics, I'm wearing the medium in first two, large in second two). I couldn't tell a ton of difference. It has zippers down the sides, which when unzipped a bit gives less of a rounded effect. They are surprisingly comfortable! </p>
