I can see why Angie picked the Joie track pants. I tried them on and wore them for a while, as I tried on other things. They were a very nice fit on me, whereas I could not wear the Wayfs and Leiths I tried on from the Savvy department (earlier, not during NAS). Both were too tight in the calves and not shaped right for me.<br />You CAN alter an elastic waistband, pretty easily, if the elastic is in a casing. Just undo the casing and cut the elastic to release it entirely. Or cut it and add a piece to make it less snug. It's not a tight fit, but I wouldn't call it generous in a slouchy way.&nbsp;I am also 5'3", a wide rib cage (36B), broad back, and largish biceps. The waistband was tight on all three. I think it had something to do with where it sits on me. Anyhow, because the elastic waistband is tight and wide, it was rather uncomfortable so I passed on the pants. For me, the main difference in the three sizes were how the legs were cut. The small was a non-baggy, slim (but not tight) fit on me. The medium kinda of slouchy and tapering. The large was loose in the thighs and also the calves/ankles.</p> <p>Still debating the sweater. It's cute, but really warm (wool/cashmere blend). Not sure how suited it is for my environment, darn it! </p>
