I do have small a small calf. I'm on the fence about the rust one, it's on the thin side. BUT, the number one find, which was a real wildcard, were the Adidas slip ons. I LOVE these and they definitely feel like an update. They are a little wide and roomy in the toe so definitely size down. Can't wait to try and style these.</p> <p>Everything else was too large. Probably should size down but in some cases even sizing down might not work. I may retry and post pics to see if it helps anyone else looking for fit info.</p> <p>I'll update if any of the shoes/boots still on order work out or if one of Angie's finds sneaks its way into the shopping cart. My thought is that you might get more mileage out of your fall dress if it had sleeves that could layer more easily under jackets or cardigans. OR, instead of the long cardigan, consider a vest, which would more easily pair with the fun sleeves you have chosen.<br />I would go with the cargos and not the leggings, if you were trying to pare down; I think they would be more versatile as they can stand on their own more, plus the solid is easier to combine in outfits than the plaid, probably. However, a wild card like plaid leggings is a really fun idea, and they are worthwhile for livening up your fall choices. <br />I can see how mule loafers might not be that practical in Seattle. But I don't know that they would be any less wearable than a lot of flats. Maybe you wouldn't want them on the wettest days, but we don't usually have really sloppy rain. Personally, I trade shoes for booties around mid- to late-October anyway. </p> <p>p.s. I'm average height and smaller bust but straight, shortwaisted figure and the top was too unstructured for me. It came low in the front and would hardly stay closed and was too big. I wanted to create a fall capsule and add some basic as well as fun items and make sure they go together. My climate is moderate (Seattle) so some of the clothes are more appropriate for Summer and Fall vs Winter but hoping these could be layered or combined with things in my closet. I'm doing a closet audit this weekend to see how this will work so I come away with a capsule. Ideally this would be after the closet audit but timing is a little off.</p> <p>3 dresses - My ideal outfit and easy fall back outfit.<br /> 1 summer casual<br /> 1 summer/fall transitional + long layering cardigan<br /> 1 fall casual<br />1 tall boot:<br /> Wear with above dresses in fall<br />1 athletic sneaker:<br /> Need one and don't have one, not sure how this will look on the foot<br /> Wear with casual dresses<br />3 pants:<br /> 1 dressy wide pant<br /> 1 cargo pant/1 legging pant/probably don't need both, &nbsp;could go with  boots but not sure that is in style anymore<br />2 blouses:<br /> Wear with dressy wide leg pant<br />2 sweaters:<br /> Wear with the cargo pant and legging/probably don't need both<br />Bras and underwear so getting dressed in the morning is not an issue</p> <p>If half of these work I will be thrilled. I wish nordstrom paired things together in outfits so it were easier to buy.</p> <p>I really am wishing for a pair of the tan mule loafer slides but I don't think they are practical for my climate most of the year. They are so cute.</p> <p>Any advice to keep or swap out. I'm most on the fence on the pants but I have a really big wardrobe gap there so wanted to pick some out. I have 3 black plain pairs at home in different styles. Would love a pair of jeans but at this rate I'm WAY over budget. Honest feedback is appreciated.<br />THANK YOU</p>
