I went to two stores, the easy ones, not the Downtown one. They were cleared out. The value of early NAS was driven home. I did get the Joie Mariner track pants, the Trouve blazer with leatherette shoulders, and a maroon belt. But struck out on coats. The Betsey Johnson coat... if I do say so myself, it looked good on me, but was too big and no smalls were left. Puffers were totally gone... boo hoo. Maybe I'll try a delivery to my store, that may be the most straightforward and easiest combination of suggestions - which I really appreciated. Silly to get in a tizzy over going to a store, but there you have it. I have to go back to pick up the blazer which is being taken in, so maybe I could squeeze it all into one last trip.</p> <p>And Lilypup did get her walk on the beach. It was her kind of day out there, fogged over. I don't know what my best shot for that would be. Maybe the Downtown one in the City or the Southern Suburbs. If I go Downtown, I should go to Uniqlo (where I've never been), but that is too much shopping for me.</p> <p>Of course I admit I don't know what I'd wear the coat with, but I figure it's a coat and will cover up everything. Also, the dog could have a fun walk on the beach if we go that way.</p> <p>What would you do? </p>
