This is my second year of wearing them, and they still look clean from a distance, but up closer, they are showing a few light marks despite my best efforts. </p> <p>I have lots of boots I never wear white boots when I know the ground will be dirty - this is fine because I have others that can be worn in those conditions.&nbsp;</p> <p>My vote is go with the ones that you like the most. The black sole is what initially drew me to the Pikolinos and the fact that’s it’s not optic white. Agreeing with Suntiger, Suz, Grace, Runcarla and Sharan that it would work best with a dark bookend somewhere (my hair!) I have had great luck with fit with that brand as well. I’ve worn several pairs of their boots into the ground! In my experience, @Donna, I think they are pretty average in width. My feet are neither wide or narrow. The SE does appeal to me because it looks more refined but have a hard time with the large swath of white—especially with my dark hair. Lisa is on the same page! Thanks for helping me pass the time—I was done chitchatting—my voice gone from repeating myself (for my dad who is hearing aid resistant.)</p> <p>I think the SE are for my imaginary life—where I’m not tromping through dirt and diesel.
