What was it? The booties that were supposed to come to me from Ottawa via Vancouver or Calgary.  Box was a mess. I have not received an e-receipt for the merchandise but the packing slip had the regular  (not sale) Canadian price for the booties (and they are on sale in Canada as well as the US) and the booties themselves have the US sale price on the bottom.  I have no idea if I have really been charged. Meanwhile, the SA I was dealing with had seemingly forgotten that she had ordered them and has told me she re-ordered from Vancouver. Will I get them? It might have been a morality test if it had arrived a month later, but I feel sure I would have returned them. As it was, I called Ulta and the rep actually asked me to return 13 month old products that had been stored under unknown circumstances. I took them back to the store and the incredulous manager had a good laugh and begged me to keep them so he wouldn't have to deal. Of course, they were all ruined anyway.  Oh, I did have a top show up after a month. A less than kind and brilliant woman a street over had just kept the box unopened for a month and done nothing about it. At least she didn't open and steal it. A receipt came with it and everything for an item I would never buy. I called them to report the error, they were baffled and it took a week for them to figure out. They had me destroy the gift card. I remember being a little miffed that they weren't more grateful for my honesty. I mean, someone screwed up big time on that one. Nordstrom also credited me $189 on my card that I'm not certain I deserve, but I can't prove it either way. It's possible I overpaid on my card, too, since I do a lot of buying and returning. If I could honestly point to where this money "erroneously" came from, I'd bring it to their attention. But I can't, so I continue to live under the impression that Nordstrom gave me money. I haven't gotten any "extras" but two of my boxes this time around arrived very beaten up, in part because they were way too big and hadn't been packed with any padding. (But everything inside was fine, so no worries there.). I did find it surprising because usually they pack quite well and the boxes usually arrive in great shape.
