Janet, that's what it looked like on me, too. I think you could see the lace pattern on my underwear! :-O
I'm not against a little bit of bodycon, but it was OTT. Surprising for Vince.
Jean, I did get the VC dress, and it was a nice knee-length on me- longer than on the model. Not midi, though. (I'm 5'6")

I like the look of the R&b jacket a lot, hip flare and all, in the photo at least. I really don't need an olive jacket......and am not in the NAS early bird sale group. Maybe see later in the month.....

Popping in to say #3 brought a big smile, such fun texture, I wanna touch it! And, wow, what a difference in fit in dress #1 and #13.... The black looks so fab right off the rack, but yes, the neckline is too high. Thanks for all your work modeling these!

Love the Autumn Cashmere Topper. How did the sizing run? I am between Medium and Large on top but all the drape makes be think I should go with Medium.

Thanks Janet and Parsley, if it seems like a winner, I will post.
Maybe I should have sized up?
It should arrive soon.
This year , I was not tempted by much, probably because of an overflowing closet.
I loved the vince camuto gold and brown long sleeved dress but why so short?
That would have been much better as a midi with that pattern:

Tagging onto your thread here Janet :)

I finally got a chance to try on the Rag & Bone Chamberlain army jacket. I really wanted to like this, but the fit in both size M and L was totally off on me -- in particular through the shoulders and the arms. I get a weird crinkle/fold in the sleeve a few inches below the shoulder seam.

So I'd say it runs a bit small if you have wide shoulders.

Parsley, I happened to grab a photo of my usual size in the Vince dress - uh, yeah, talk about VPL! You can see my Fitbit clipped on my underwear too. Lol.

I'll chime in, too, on the Vince dress- I went and tried it on yesterday. It is VERY body con for a Vince dress, and I didn't like it on me at all. Maybe I could have tried a size up, but I think it would have been too big in the armholes. Too bad, because the fabric is very nice. The exposed zipper is quite inconspicuous, so it's quite clean-lined, but I was looking for something not SO form-fitting.
I ended up buying another Vince dress that wasn't on sale (darn!), and it would look great on you, Jean, although it's not as long. It was way longer on me than on the model, though.

Jean, the fabric on the dress is a nice substantial knit -- stretchy but forgiving IF the fit is slightly on the loose side. In my usual size, it was a bit too body-con in the bottom half and would require shapewear (which I just don't do these days). But I bet it would suit your body type better! Honestly, I didn't even notice the zipper. Maybe I've just gotten used to exposed zippers? It is a very simple dress, so it may be perfect for you! I think if it had a V-neck I may have gone for it, but there were just too many not-quite-perfect things about it for me. The length is great -- I hope this dress and the Ted Baker are an indication of longer lengths to come.

I just ordered the Vince dress in the plum color, looked like one of the only longer dresses.
Janet, what is the material like and is the exposed zipper really obvious? I want something really plain.
Thank you for all your help and if you do not get to this, no worries.
I will find out soon enough!

This was definitely useful to see! I have the floral sweater coming to me and now I'm even more excited to get it. Especially since the colors are a little different for me, so it's nice to see it looking good on someone with similar-ish coloring to mine. The Autumn Cashmere sweater is also something I could see myself wondering about, but it looks like it would be too much fabric for me too.

And the Missoni dress really is great!

Thanks for posting these, Janet!
I also love that Missoni dress on you. It looks about a gazillion times better on you than on the model from the website. Definitely one to keep your eye on!
I hope you have ordered the Halogen floral sweater, because it is really pretty and fun on you.
You've made me interested in trying the Stuart Weitzman booties. I find SWs so comfortable; they are my go-to brand, and the taupe/brown color is really pretty.
Also, I'm curious about the Vince dress, and may go try it on.

Here are the booties that didn't work out. The Weitzmans are really nice. Very comfortable. I just don't have a great need for them. These would be terrific for someone who wants a taupey neutral in a refined but still casual bootie.

I love the Rag & Bones. Comfortable and just rugged enough. But that instep is very tight for getting the the booties on and off (and I was not wearing socks). I wish they'd added a zipper to the inside or something.

Ack I hope they restock that floral sweater in my size (L) because I love it.
I have a coat from H&M last year similar to the Kenneth Cole and it's super soft and was a good deal. If anyone is looking for something similar I'd check them once they start their winter wear.

I'm glad if this was helpful to anyone!

The Halogen floral sweater is really pretty, lightweight and feels nice on. Not a heavy sweater at all -- nice drape and would be fun layered over chambray and under a moto to toughen it up perhaps. I might order it online if it's avaiable. I do recommend it. Didn't see it at all in the white version, I think this sold out quickly!

Both of the leather skirts were Halogen -- I added that to the descriptions, sorry I couldn't remember late last night! Briar, you're right -- the length on the asymetrical one is nice -- it just reached my knees, which is a minor miracle in skirt lengths. And I could have sized up to get a little more length, because my regular size was just a smidge snug in the waist. So if you try it, be aware it runs a little snug.

Vivian, I totally hear you on the skirts! I need to wear the ones I have.

Carter, good idea to stalk the Misonni dress! It really was nice -- a separate slip lining, nice and stretchy and lightweight -- I could see wearing it in spring through fall.

I also tried on the finds below but didn't take pics:

Truth & Pride leather sleeve coat: Love the mixed media, fit was OK. But the wool part is very nubbly and looks like it would not only snag easily, but also would be a dog hair magnet. Bummer because I love the vibe.

T&P navy leather moto. Very nice fit, great jacket. But this is such a dark navy that it can easily be mistaken for black. This would be a great jacket for someone who doesn't have a black leather jacket and likes the idea of a slightly softer color!

Halogen leather vest. Really cute and nice TTS fit. But I don't need a leather vest since I have vests that I already need to wear.

Rag & Bone olive jacket. TTS and very nice fitted look. But this might be best for someone who is not trying to deemphasize their hips. It really flares out at the bottom, especially when worn open, and I don't tend to close jackets a lot.

Thanks for these pics, Janet. Oh, Ted Baker! What bodies does he fit right off the hanger?? I love the print, though. So lush. And the Missoni is so super sexy but that is a lot of money.

I wish I were committed to wearing skirts because I love that split hem leather one, but they just sit in my closet.

So smart of you to take pictures. And I so impressed that you went fall all the way. It was so hot in my store yesterday,I was trying on all the sweaters, jackets and booties, with shorts. And I run cold, I felt bad for the SA's.
