If DH didn't dislike them so strongly, they would be my big NAS purchase. I have a pair of Aquatalias on the way. I am just not sure how they could be as comfy as these!

There's no sense keeping something that Mr. Thistle strongly dislikes. I'm also interested in how they fit. I was hoping for a pair of refined NAS black dress boots with a small heel and narrow shaft to replace a pair I've worn out.

Thanks, Thistle - that's a great response. I usually wear my larger size with boots, too, so I can wear socks. We cold-weather gals stick together!

My hesitation is that my SW booties are in my smaller size. So are my SE Pettys. (Meanwhile, I had to order my larger size in the SE sandals -- go figure!)

But I tend not to wear socks with the SW booties -- just hose or thin trouser socks.

I wonder if Mr. T. will change his mind. I know these boots are an Angie pick. She got a pair for herself.

I like my boots a bit bigger as I tend to layer heavy socks underneath them. I found them TTS for me as I like them just touch bigger.

Some boots require me to go up half a size to do this (SE Petty's, for example).

Thanks, Thistle! Too bad Mr. T didn't like them for you!

I have a pair on order. How did you find the sizing? TTS or not? Laura is trying them and said they were very large, but Angie found them TTS. I am between sizes and ordered the larger of my two sizes, but wonder if I should order the smaller as insurance.

I heard some terrific thoughts on these boots, and I am actively seeking to add a new pair of tall boots to my fall/winter wardrobe. I need them to coordinate well with dresses and skirts. I would also like comfort and a ladylike vibe.

These deliver on all three counts. They have a nice rounded alond toe, so pretty and ladylike but very comfy. These boots feel like a dream on your feet. They have a fabulous sole, great traction, no slip, comfortable and still keeping the ladylike vibe. They are a mixed media boot, meaning they are a thick fabric with stretch all down the back but have a suede front. It is beautifully done and on trend (I think!) for the mixed media. This make them able to accomodate a large range of calf sizes.

I did return mine because DH absolutely hated the mixed media look. I was surprised at his strong response, and he brought it up two additional times later in the evening after I had shown them to him, so I took the hint :)

Still, a terrific pair of boots and one I would highly recommend!
