They look more modern, even my unfashionable DH said so :)<br />But I doubt I need two pairs of sneakers in almost the same color. This is still a great lesson for me. I tend to avoid without trying any shoe that looks chunky. I tried these sneakers and liked the look. I have Cole Haan sneakers that look like yours, and I recently bought another pair of white sneakers in a different style. Didn't turn out fantastic in my case, because the new ones--while I really like the style, as an update for me--aren't as comfy as the CH! Like others, I wouldn't dismiss a second pair of white out of hand, but think about whether they serve somewhat different purposes. If you were hoping for a different shade, you might hold out. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I don't know if this pair is available to you in Canada (CH Topspin in Finds) but it is definitely more of a stone color and would be a different look to your current CH pair. Have you tried coats over it, but you may not want to wear it that way. I have more than one pair of white sneakers. One more dressy, one perforated for warm weather, one big grandpa style for serious walking.
