I take a polish break October to March. Since I have fussy feet and work them hard, I'm meticulous about care: Epsom soaks, nails trimmed short, lots of pumice work, special foot creams. A pedicure every few weeks in the warmer months and monthly when it is not. Plus a manicure every week with reapplication of nail polish as soon as chips appear on my nails. It's so easy to procrastinate! I don't get my nails done at a salon, so I have to find the time to do it myself. I am always very happy once I have it done, however. I only get maybe 3-4 professional pedis a year, but I paint my nails myself in between in sandal months. I love peeptoe's. But many women begin to stress out, my nails, my feet! Have to get them done. Ialways am stunned that my girlfriends dont take care of their feet in the winter. Why is that?
