Hmmm. I think I know what you mean. I have had shirts that did this too once in a while. I never did figure out what the problem was, but I think perhaps it has something to do with how the armholes are cut. Is it on the loose side?

i think there could be a couple of issues. first, ae is really designed for teenagers, and that this brand is just not right for your body type. 2nd, it could be that the shirt was not sewn correctly, its possible, that the manufacturer cut costs to hit a price.

Rae, I seriously saw somewhere (of course now I can't remember) that there were tiny weights sewn into the hem of a garment. Not too crazy of an idea, really . . .

Hmm...maybe you should put some weights in the pockets? hehe... I'm not sure what else could fix it.

I have a perfectly nice heavy chambray shirt with a strange problem. When I put it on, it seems to fit and feel fine--the shoulders are where they belong. But in a few minutes, the collar is trying to escape down my back, the button is choking me, and the shirt looks . . . odd. There is something off about me, or it, or we are just bad together.

I'm hard to fit in a button up shirt, being petite and busty, and there is often a button gap problem, or just something that makes this a not very flattering look on me. This one came from American Eagle and, probably because of nicely placed pockets, isn't unflattering. But the fit problem! Any insights, so I can avoid a repeat of this problem?
