It looks too big under the arms, which would involve taking out at least the bottom of the sleeves which wouldn't be worth it to me (and i could do it myself) I'd return it.

I've always found large florals very difficult (in that grandmother sort of way) - but the fit issues trump that I guess.

Sorry it didn't work out, but I think that's the right choice. Khris already voiced my concerns. :T

Have you tried it with a belt? I'm surprised that the shoulders fit so well. Given that, I think you could take it in pretty easily. The difficulty with alterations would be taking out the sleeves to make the shoulders smaller.

It doesn't fit in the shoulders, so you would basically have to have the whole thing remade. I don't think it's worth the cost.

Hmmm...I don't know about this, but I'm no tailor. Maybe you could have the seams taken in on both sides? Is it worth it, though? Are you absolutely smitten with this print? I would bet that florals will be plentiful as the spring season gets rolling.

Yes, my Zara top is XL but the shoulders seem to fit nicely. I think. This was taken this morning pre shower and makeup so did not want to shop my face. :)

Hubby said it was too big and looked like something my grandmother would wear. Yikes!! I like the print darn it.
