She loved the effect so much, she ended up getting several! I have a friend who recently bought a wig made with synthetic fibers as well (same price/quality range) and things didn’t really go well when she tried to curl it herself. That’s why I’m leaving things to the professionals. Thanks for the tip about finding some one who knows their way around a wig. I’ve found some interesting accessories to help help hide the problem while my hair grows back, like headscarves. </p> <p>And most recently, a wig. It was very cheap and looks quite obvious, but I figured I should try an inexpensive alternative to see how I adapt to it before I commit to a human hair front lace wig, which will set me back at least 1,000 euros. The more expensive ones can cost up to three times that amount ou more.</p> <p> This wig is extremely long, longer than my hair has ever been. The synthetic fibers get tangles easily and it sheds profusely every time I brush it. Luckily it’s also extremely full and denso, so there’s hair to spare. There’s a salon that just opened on my street and from the look of things it’s pretty upscale and professional. I’ve been thinking of taking my wig there for a haircut but I don’t know how the fibers will look in some of the stiles I’ve chosen. I know I want to shorten it and add layers but I’m having trouble making a decision. I’ll definitely be asking the stylists there for their opinion but I thought I’d run it by you guys first since I always get such friendly, helpful and encouraging responses here. </p> <p>The first photo is extremely filtered and was taken as soon as the wig arrived. The second one was taken after I tried to brush it (after all my friends had played with it and tried it on). The third photograph shows the color in direct sunlight, which was my favorite thing about the wig. It’s extremely close to the color I usually dye my hair. That was pleasant surprise seeing as it looked quite different online. The other two photos are the haircuts I’m considering. The first one is my first choice although I’m not quite sure it will be comparable with the wig. The last photo would be my second choice. I am totally open to other suggestions however and if you guys have anything specific in mind please feel free to post photos as well! </p>
