Although seeing two of the local hat makers in their own creations could be enough to turn people off hats! One seriously looked like she belonged in Alice in Wonderland, and the other looked like she had a doily on her head. I get that they were probably trying to make a statement and showcase their abilities, but they just looked silly and TBH, made me think I'd prefer to hat shop elsewhere with someone who was more refined and elegant.</p> <p>But anyway! 3 months before I get to go to the races again!</p> <p>I really enjoyed the challenge of a dress every day - it was very comfy. I'll have to see what other "good" dresses I have that may be able to be dressed down now.</p> <p>And there's also the pic of my on my way to the races - had a great day and am glad I went with the outfit I did - I felt really happy with my look. </p>
