The tape was almost completely unraveled from the box. It didn't take more than a slight tug to get the entire piece of tape to come off in my hand and the box to be flat. </p> <p>Has anyone else with recent Gap, Old Navy, BR, or Piperlime purchases had a similar issue?</p> <p>I'm not saying that it's *not* a case of thievery, but the tape certainly didn't make it any more difficult for the thief if that's what happened. It's probably worth alerting both BR and UPS to the problem. My BR box came yesterday with the tape almost completely undone. I think this is a BR shipping problem. I bet the merchandise fell out of your box when the tape undid itself and then UPS just taped it up and called it a day. Maybe they (BR) are trying a new tape or something. I felt lucky that my skinnies were still able to stay in that box- it was a complete mess. UPS had done nothing to help keep it closed. (I had ordered the Martin Skinnies in a size down, just to see how they fit.) It looked like the package had been opened and then taped over. Indeed, when I opened it, there was no clothing inside - just a huge pile of UPS labels! </p> <p>I immediately called BR, and they instantly refunded my credit card, and the rep was very sympathetic, but said that's all he could do. He did thank me for reporting it, and advised me to get in touch with UPS if I wanted to pursue it further. I couldn't find a number to call UPS, so I sent an e-mail to the fraud e-mail address. I attached pictures of the package with all the tape, and the labels inside. </p> <p>I'm still in shock that this happened. I've never had this problem before, but it makes me a little worried to order online now! BR was great about instantly refunding my credit card, but I can't imagine this is good for anyone's business. </p>
