It really is a three season jacket, good over a sweater with the hood up, lightweight in warmer weather, and reasonably rain proof. It has a two way zipper and zip pockets too!</p> <p>Everything else was a "we'll see" that surprised me with their versatility. Especially the Dickies socks - they are warm, don't itch, wash well, and they stay up when I'm wearing boots. Bonus; they come in <b>three</b> sizes, and the large doesn't pinch my 9.5 foot toes. </p>
