NJDJ are imported here and praised to the skies in our magazines and nice boutiques, but this thread has had "grass roots" evidence that they don't work for lots of people. Just wanted to say that if you call customer service they might be able to locate them at a particular store rather than waiting for them to appear online. Sometimes I am considering the possibility of getting little V's with extra fabric sewn into the waist bands of jeans that otherwise fit well. I haven't tried it yet. It's an idea I got from member Vix from a thread where I was moaning about fitting pants. I have recently tried wearing them again and it's not too bad. They certainly hold me in and the rise is good on 5 foot 2 me. I feel they suit me and I love the look of them but will prob never wear them as much as my 2 elastic waist pairs. Could you try getting the too big pair tailored? Better material. I haven't checked lately as I bought mine a season or two ago. Modern high rise skinnies. I got them in petites but I'm 5'0 tall.</p> <p>They are super comfy. Just enough stretch, but not too much. An upgrade to LOFT denim, but that includes price. I remember I had to stalk them online because they kept selling out, and weren't in the stores, at least in petites. They are my "go-to" for work jeans now.</p> <p>The Wit and Wisdom jeans are more stretchy, but I love them too. Lighter weight fabric (the ones I have-- I have the light wash, the darker wash I tried I didn't like so much). They'll stretch out so I feel like I have to wash and dry them again, but then I'll see me in pictures of them and they look just fine, so it may just be a mental/feel thing. They looked pretty darned good, but they were uncomfortably tight in the waist, which I didn't realize until I'd had them a while. Like Shiny, I've pretty much given up on the brand now, because they just don't fit me that well. Doesn't keep me from trying them on the store once in a while, though, because you never know when something might just work. </p> <p>Christina, are your current NYDJ jeans the same cut (name)? Well, I size down for these, and they are so tight across my belly that they are cutting off circulation! I'm a bit bloated right now, and I need to try them again when I'm not. Even though I have wide hips and thighs, my belly is the hardest part of me to fit in jeans and pants because it tends to bloat, and because I have a very short waist, which means the belly is high At least I think that's why. Should I try to wear these so they strecth? I like them otherwise. But I have to be able to actually wear them so they can stretch with wear. </p> <p>Natori bra - my first one!
