I've been interested in a sweater vest ever since Angie first polled about them last year in this <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/2024/09/23/sweater-vests-yay-or-nay/">post</a>. I never really saw one that caught my eye until this weekend when I stumbled upon this light grey sweater vest at TJMaxx.  Inspired by <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/2024/09/27/outfit-formula-shirt-sweater-vest-and-jeans/">this outfit formula</a>, I reached for collared button-downs and jeans for a quick styling session with my new sweater vest. I don't own much grey in my wardrobe (only two graphic tees) but grey pairs well with blues so I gave that a try. #1 and #2 - Sweater Vest With Blue Striped Shirt and Cuffed Jeans I paired the sweater vest with a striped shirt, cuffed AG straight leg jeans, and burgundy ballet flats and bag. I should have cuffed the sleeves of the shirt too, but didn't think about it til after I looked at the photos. #3 and #4 - Sweater Vest With Blue Denim Shirt and Straight Leg Jeans This time I paired the sweater vest with a blue denim shirt and straight leg jeans without cuffing. I think brown or cognac shoes and bag would be a no brainer pairing for this outfit but I was in experimental mode. I wanted to try black accessories for something different. The black bag is sentimental and doesn't get much use so I paired with some black slip on Ecco sneakers for a touch of black with this outfit instead of brown or cognac. One thing I noticed about a sweater vest, it is warm! Of course, that could also be because I was trying on these outfits when it was 80F! :) Thanks for looking!
