Nice to have a coat that I am not precious about.</p> <p>Zara gold bomber, bought as a bit of fun 3 years ago and has been a great rain jacket and travel companion.</p> <p>Zara knits are also staples for me, I find that they only last up to 2 years, but they definitely clock up the wears, being perfect layering pieces. Sorry, no picture. Black loafers with bows on top of a kilt, in leather. They were very stiff, and my feet no longer wish to break in stiff shoes. Some of it was sizing: I think I started with a 37, which should have fit, but the heel slipped badly, so I switched them out for a 36. The 36 was a tad small, but I tried to make them work. So cute, but they hurt! I finally gave them to a colleague with smaller, younger feet.</p> <p>The clothes generally do not work for me because I am 4'11" and curvy: sleeves are much too long and waistlines do not hit at the right point. It is the embroidered floral bomber jacket. This jacket gets (positive) comments every time I wear it. FWIW I've washed it (turned inside out) in a delicate cycle and let it air dry, and it came through with flying colours. </p> <p>I mostly shopped at a smaller Zara store in Toronto (on Queen St. West) when I worked down town. It was smaller and less jumbled than the bigger one in the Eaton's Center. I generally do well with their knit tops and have some great ones in cotton that are in my Byzantine Jewel theme. I also have a couple of blouses that I picked up in NYC. Loved them to pieces and they served me well. Still have a cable cashmere sweater that I bought 3 or 4 years ago on sale. No pilling, looks like new. Also, had some luck with pants. Wore a pair of cowhide flats in white and black for 3 years and always was complimented on it. I don’t buy from Zara often, no items this year so far. Shopping there is challenging for me since it is not a petite friendly brand. I used to go to a smaller store with less people and could see the inventory better. Oh, and I have a scarf that is not in a Find, that I think I got in NYC or Boston Zara on one of the YLF shopping meetups at least five years ago — it’s a cotton black, white, turquoise and orange butterfly print, and I still wear it a ton. </p> <p>The first find is a nice longer black blazer that I bought at the end of the season this year, still with tags on it. I love the streamlined style, and I think it is a good replacement for my old long BCBG jacket, which I pretty much wore into the ground. My 9-year-old navy leather cross body box bag is a favorite, and I still use it a lot. I also have a nice oversized black and turquoise suede/smooth leather clutch from Zara that I enjoy carrying. It's probably 6-7 years old.</p> <p>My mustard suede ankle boots haven't received that much wear, but I do enjoy them. They have an interesting cut-in heel design, and the color is fab.&nbsp; Probably my most worn Zara item is my 4-5 year old high shaft, high-heeled black boots. I've probably worn them 100 times, and they still look and feel great.</p> <p>I also have a Zara oversized gray top in a sweatshirt fabric that has an a large repeat pattern of a line drawing of a Siamese cat front and back. I bought it as a sleep shirt years ago, and love it. Super comfortable. I take it on every trip to sleep in. And I still have a long cream and brown scarf with a snake pattern that is still going strong after 9 years. It doesn't get a lot of wear, but it's a very nice piece.
