When I was 10, I saw an article in a fashion magazine featuring stunning 40 years old ladies, and it made a lasting impression. I decided that 'I want to look like them when I grow up.' When I was in my teens, twenties and thirties, people were very surprised when I told them that I looked forward to becoming 40, 50, and more. I always thought that experienced grown-ups were--and in several cases also looked-- more interesting than young people.</p> <p>+40 ladies with great personal style are still my style heroes.
