La Ped, I can understand your reluctance, in fact when it came to embroidered denim, I was the same, but as you say, the peacock was just too cute. Mirjana, so glad you like the orange one best, as that is my favourite too. UmmLila, that is a good point about the play suits looking more like mini dresses, because I love wearing dresses, so that is probably why they work for me. Cardiff Girl, the crane motif was very appropriate for Japan! Christina F, I have to agree that getting the right fit with play suits can be tricky, so glad that you have found one too. Becky, wearing bright colour is something that I have played with since joining YLF. Angie’s obviously a good influence. Barbara Diane, we had a brilliant trip. The rain forced us to do more indoor activities. My son love the ninja training and samurai sword class we did in Kyoto far more than visiting temples and gardens. Sal, it is wonderful when something that you never expected to work actually does. It was sad to see the devastation of the floods, but it was just 4 days of relentless rain for us. Jussi, yes I seem to be having a bright lipstick phase at the moment! CindySmith, thank you. I am looking forward to seeing your pale wave wildcards in action soon. JAileen, yes the play suits work the same way as matching shorts sets. Shorts sets will be on my radar as an alternative because they will give the column of colour too. Aida, yes the orange playsuit is definitely the standout piece! Thank you for pointing out why these denim jackets work for me, as I have had more basic denim jackets and not worn them much. Not something I had ever worn and not really on my radar until I found the orange one, and it quickly became such a workhorse that I bought a navy blue one as well. My playsuits are light and comfortable in fabrics that don't crush. I don't like wearing shorts because they seem to casual for my style. Playsuits are slightly more dressy than shorts and are just as practical. On my trip to Japan (we came home today), I found my playsuits to be very useful in the warmer weather and easy to wear with a variety of footwear, but mainly sandals and sneakers. My current (Australian winter) wildcard was to buy two denim jackets, and these both got worn, with the playsuits on my trip. I wore the denim jackets most days because it was far more rainy than we expected. Luckily we were not in the areas that experienced flooding.
