I say this because everybody's different, so it takes trial &amp; error to learn your own personal set of 'rules' - e.g. some people really love wearing dresses with ankle straps (like you've shown here), but others find they cut off their legs horizontally &amp; so will only wear ankle straps with covered legs (or in a colour closer to their skintone). When thy arrive, you can post a Keep/Return tryon session if you want help narrowing down which ones you want to keep. I got lots of helpful comments on a series of posts i did about my sandals search last summer. Getting shoes right is so important and so hard. With heels it’s even harder to find The Ones that look right and that you can walk in all day long. Will you wear heels with the short dresses too? I’d go for loafers or something like what’s shown with your #9 dress pic, but that’s me, not you. Some people prefer sneakers with short dresses, but that’s them.
