You’ve got me feeling pretty good about heading in the oxford direction. I’m thinking of trying the Frye’s since I already have Doc boots. I can just barely get my pant hem over the Doc boot shaft--they almost look like they are the oxfords here, don’t they! I just wouldn’t want to have to wear them if I had to take them on and off--kind of a pain.<br /> @kcanshop: I think it’s the heel that elongates. The Reports are really comfy and I can probably wear all day. Glad the Docs and Cons read as “cute” and not too frumpy.<br /> @Una: I tried the Arlettas but they didn’t have the next half size up. Of those two, I think the Reports look best, maybe because they are closest to your hair color and seem like an extension of you? I think that the more elongated toe on both of them reads as more leg lengthening than the round toes on the Docs and the Cons. What do you think about these? Do you think oxfords are a step in the right direction? From left to right: Docs, taupe wedge lace up booties that are not all day shoes, Reports, Cons.)</p> <p>Please feel free to comment honestly.
