The leather is soft and butter, the colour isn't too harsh, the length is perfect, and critically, it has the right amount of flare to accommodate broad hips and a large posterior without amplifying them. As a pearish pear, drastic flares and pleats are simply not flattering on me, even though they should be. As a result,&nbsp;I've tended to gravitate toward pencil skirts for the sleek look they offer, but unless a pencil skirt sits at the natural waist (most at Nordstrom, J.Crew and elsewhere don't), it's not a flattering look.&nbsp;<br />I've been looking for knee-length leather skirts for about two years, and this one fits the bill. Here's hoping, rather wishfully, that the price drops even further.&nbsp;</p>
