So amazingly versatile.</p> <p>My cropped cantaloupe skinny jeans and buttery yellow pullover are on constant rotation for spring right now. The chambray shirt is close behind. The JCrew button-up is a new addition and in linen which I look forward to styling soon.&nbsp;</p> <p>I adore pale pink but its very hard for me to find the "right" shade of pink. It's great to get a handle on what colours and tones are flattering. Your posts are instructive, as they make me think about why certain pastels (such as your gorgeous lilac trench) would not work for me. Whilst pastels are among the most flattering colours on me, I need them to be relatively clear in tone with no grey or muddy undertones. </p> <p>These pastel dresses are the right tones for me. My lilac marled sweater has grey undertones and consequently is less flattering on me. It does not light up my complexion in the same way as the light lilac dress or brighter lilac blouse. </p> <p>It's nice to think these things through, as tone is particularly important for me rather than colour. Though I wear colours across the spectrum of warm and cool, I don’t have any ‘warm’ pastels except for butter yellow shoes!&nbsp;<div><br /></div><div>Pink is one colour that just does not work for me! &nbsp;I loved the soft, slightly peachy ‘millineal pink’ when it was trending hard 2012-14, but it didn’t do me any favours. &nbsp;Lilac is my pink!<br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><div><br /></div></div></div> </p>
