Traci, the fabric of the dress is not flimsy, so I expect the weight is right for your 4 season purposes. You're having a ball - that's what I like to see. Keep us posted on what works and what doesn't, and glad you're on the mend.

Sveta, I live in a constant state of seasonal confusion. In winter I layer up lighter weight dresses with leggings, boots and jackets and it keeps me warm enough. I almost treat the light dress like a non-existent layer..basically over top of a full outfit of blouse and skinny jeans or tshirt and leggings.

I saw Angie mentioned this is lightweight. For me it will work for 4 seasons, but probably not for everyone else in our climate. As long as they don't read as summer in fabrication, color, or print, I go for it. Black is my friend in this.

3rd order, 4th order - who is counting? I placed 5! :-)
Great picks. I am wondering about EF dress - do you think you cna wear it in summer and in winter both? You have a similar climate and usually if I can wear a dress in summer it is too light for the winter...or maybe it is just me?

Ha! I also have ordered the Munro booties in 8W and 8.5M. My normal size is 8M. The 8.5M have come, and they're good. Still waiting on the 8Ws to compare.

Traci, you have some great items coming! I hope they all work well for you. The booties sound like a perfect comfy option. I think it's smart that you ordered the other size. I ordered many of my items in more than one size. I also had several different orders!

I just put in my 4th order. After reading a few threads about the Munro booties I decided to order a second pair in regular width but half size up.

Thanks, Angie. I'm still not in tip top shape, thus all the flowy layers and cozy knits. Thank you for making it all so simple with your finds!

Last year's work horse of the year was the NAS EF lantern dress. I wore it to death. I hope this one is as useful.

Next year I will have a Nordstrom 20 min from my house and 5 min from my work. I told my husband we need to start working that into the budget now. I'm curious to see how that changes my experience. Obviously less need to buy multiples.

Oh, wow. GREAT potential haul, Traci. And lovely to see you on the forum again. I missed you. Hope that you have fully recovered from your surgery, and that you are 100% fighting fit again.

I think you'll like many of these pieces. REALLY hope the Munro booties work out. One of my clients bought the Caslon long jacket and it's very cozy and comfy. Might run a bit big though.

And it sounds like Black is your new Black.

Oddly enough, I too placed three separate orders. It just seems natural. My orders have shipped but items won't start arriving until July 22nd. The majority of the orders will arrive on July 29th. A long, long time from now.

I love the pieces you selected. I am especially enamored with the dress. It just looks gorgeous.

Thanks, Carter. Isn't it fun when things start to make sense? I'm really hoping the EF dress is fab in person. I can see it being a workhorse for me all year long. Layered up in winter and on its own with sandals in summer.

FC, I did get the knit moto too. I forgot to mention that one. I'm holding my breath on that one, though. I usually buy petite in Calson and they were down to only straight sizing and a size up for me. It's very likely to not work out, but I like it so much I gave it a shot. I have a similar jacket from gap that I love, but the zipper snags the open knit. I'm hoping this one fits and doesn't have that problem.

Bring it on, Mr. UPS Man!

I like your picks, Traci! I have the Munro Lexi booties, and I wore mine last year for the Seattle Summer Inge Fest all-day extravaganza, walking all over downtown Seattle. Hope they are as comfortable for you!
You got the knit moto jacket, too--the one in FInds? That looks really nice. I like jackets that feel like sweaters.

You crack me up! I placed 3 orders as well. We'll have lots of the same stuff. I got the EF dress in black, then ordered it in blue too. Hope the color works for me, because I am nuts about the dress. I also got the Munro booties and both of the zella capris you got!

My focus this year was also black (and charcoal). For some reason, I have put less effort and thought into black and gray items because I've thought of them as base items to highlight something else. This year, I finally got that these needed to be quality items too! Yeesh...51 years old and I'm just figuring this out;-)

I put in a flurry of orders Friday morning. To start off I ordered a pile of black items. In the last couple of years I've been slowly allowing black back into my wardrobe. I seem to have come into a huge neutrals kick in the last year and I'm loving black everything like it's something new.

My first order consisted of
-2 sizes in black of the EF dress
-Munro booties (chosen because of Angie's comment about comfort. I've been looking for a pair of simple, workhorse, all day walkable, black booties after a trip to NYC 2 years ago.)
-Calson blazer in olive
-Black tote, because I was on a roll, it was quite inexpensive, and Angie gave it a thumbs up. I really don't need it and will probably return.
-Sperry rain boots. I was going with the more sensible black colorway, but by Friday morning that was sold out in my size, so I went with the white ones, which I was very intrigued by anyway.
-Calson long jacket. Calson has become my favorite comfort brand. I hope this is snuggly and soft. I hope I don't regret my choice to go with the ivory color.
-Pleione top. Last year's version was my favorite shirt last year. I wore it to shreds. This year's updates the one thing I didn't like last year, which was the collar. I expect to live in these shirts and my calson knit skirts for the next 3 months.

A little while later, after more tea, I ordered the calson blazer in black and the EF dress in cobblestone.

Then a bit after that I picked up the Zella capris in the print and black.

So far nothing from my first order has shipped, but everything from my second and third orders should be arriving next week. My first package is expected to deliver tomorrow!
