The black one I ordered just arrived today. I love it. The wool is soft, it is not bulky, is cut in a flattering way, with princess-like front seams that are elongating. The hood is functional and shaped just right to actually stay in place. I am 5’8” with average length arms, somewhat long-waisted, yet “leggy”, and find the proportions perfect apart from sleeves that are several inches too long for my average length arms. Waterproof wool in a form factor so attractive and practical for my climate hasn’t been a HEWI, more a pipe dream, so I will get the sleeves altered if possible. </p> <p>Also received the EF black denim jeans today. Love them. Tried two sizes: my usual EF one size down and my typical size in other brands. The waist was slightly snug in smaller of the two sizes; leg cut was perfect. The larger size was “wrinkly baggy” in the legs and not much bigger in the waist where this rectangle with apple tendencies might have liked a touch more play. Wore the smaller size for a bit and was happy with the fit due to the fabric stretching in the waist, so will keep. Like the lighter weight of the jeans and slight variation in silhouette. They may fit better on you than the often generous waist in other EF items. </p> <p>Good luck, whatever you decide. The Glacier fleece appears to be a Nordstrom exclusive.&nbsp;</p> <p>Still pondering the black EF jeans. Not a need and $99 is still pretty steep for jeans, for me. But it sounds like the waist is quite fitted, so the price may be worth it if it saves me the trouble of altering the waist.&nbsp; </p>
