I do own two pairs of Frye boots and both I almost sold on EBay, they took me quite a few wears to break in. I did it when I first got home, and its helped, but not quite enough - I only used a bit of the spray though as I was a bit nervous! I was thinking perhaps a few extra squirts and try again tomorrow?</p> <p>And thanks for the compliments! (I remember reading leather stretching tips so am going to find them again now!) How long do I persevere with stretching? </p> <p>These are my first pair of "real" leather shoes since a pair of boat shoes about 10yrs ago and my Dr Martens around 15yrs ago!</p> <p>But I guess its a lesson learned too - I probably do need a wider shoe than regular width... (Varying widths aren't that common in Aus - well not in any of my local shoe stores). </p>
