They are big in the waist, but I rein them in with a belt. It's probably hard to see the detail in the photos because they're black, but they have a nice moto style detail on the thigh which is distinctive but not so pronounced that they cut a strong visual line across my thighs, which is my huge problem with every other moto pant I've tried on. They are also, hallelujah!, long enough to have a wee bit of scrunch, and they are not super skinny on the calves. </p> <p>I wore them yesterday and they were very comfortable all day long, and didn't bag out at all. They stretch but pop right back into shape. I have a feeling these might make my travel capsule to Chile and Antarctica next month. I think these are a good example of gear that disguises quite well as "real" clothing.</p> <p>My WIW yesterday was in honor of a feature we did on my radio show. The program director and I co-hosted an hour of "How we survived the 80s" featuring music from the 80s that went under the radar of the mainstream radio music of the time. So it's really simple: Cramps t-shirt, my belt from Reykjavik, the new moto jeans, and the Ash Genial sneakers. </p>
