I like the idea too...I have two other pair - on a chunky pair of "nerd" glasses and one a more conservative black wireframe pair. My prescription went up a little in both eyes (now my black wireframe pair is a good 1/1.5 power too low) but I didn't bother getting new lenses in my other pairs...I have contacts so I'll depend on those when I really need to see!</p> <p>I also got the transition lenses in this pair. Not the gradient kind, but just the kind that go dark in bright sun (so I won't have them going grey on me indoors). Did I do OK? The lady at the shop wanted me to go with something that didn't come down on my cheeks as much and she was probably right...I rather like a frame with more depth because I think it breaks up my long narrow face better. Plus I liked the geometric shape of the bottom of these. The top part of the frame is burgundy metal and the temples have some sort of etched floral pattern. </p>
