I like the fabrics they use as they aren't usually the thin see through type. And they do have specials and free shipping often. I only order online from companies I can return things to locally and have not had issues with LE - they go back to Sears. </p> <p>I think your approach to shopping this year is really wise! I've never purchased anything from Lands End before, but I came across these while ordering school uniform items for the boy.&nbsp;They seemed like they were worth a try and I am surprised to say I&nbsp;absolutely love them! I bought them in the black and grey.&nbsp;They are a thick, but not heavy, knit.&nbsp;They are as comfortable as sweats, but not baggy which means I can wear an oversized top with them without looking entirely shapeless. But they are looser than a legging, so I can wear a shorter top than I'd feel comfortable wearing with leggings. In fact, I have a top very similar to <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/store/2013/06/11/elbow-patch-sweatshirt/">this Angie pick</a>&nbsp;that works well with them even though it's hip length.&nbsp;I'd say they run a bit big - I bought them in size small and I bet I *could* wear an XS, but I didn't want them to be too tight. They are, after all, for lounging! I'm a size 4-6 normally in pants. I bought the regular length, not the petite, even though I'm 5'2". They would be a bit too long for me to wear outside the house (which I don't plan to), but I don't mind an extra bit of length for lounging.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, just thought I'd share since a couple of other fabbers mentioned wanting to upgrade lounge wear.&nbsp;As I mentioned earlier,&nbsp;I took a mini break from my <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/shopping-hiatus-lessons-learned">shopping hiatus </a>for running gear and lounge wear - two areas I identified&nbsp;as having&nbsp;significant holes. I also replaced my favorite summer heels (sadly, the heel broke after many years of wear)&nbsp;with <a rel="nofollow" href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/classiques-entier-sabrina-pump/3394386?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&amp;contextualcategoryid=0&amp;fashionColor=&amp;resultback=0&amp;cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_1_A">these beauties</a>&nbsp;which I love. They are surprisingly comfortable for the height and pointed toe. NAS is coming up and I've budgeted for a new suit (I buy a suit, but then&nbsp;wear them as&nbsp;separates much of the time), refreshing underpinnings and perhaps finding a couple of short sleeve tops for layering under suits and jackets. And then I'm done for the year! I'll admit that I miss shopping and it's been tempting to go overboard while shopping for these legitimate holes, but all in all it's really been a great opportunity to reflect on my needs, wants and priorities. Funny how things shift when life changes make you adjust your perspective!&nbsp; </p>
