				<description>&#060;p&#062;Oh April, you are so sweet!!!  (I am just catching up on YLF now after days away).  This card business is driving me bananas, but I think it is *finally* sorted out!!!!  What happened is Nordstrom authorised my card twice, then removed both authorisations and tried adding a 3rd before the first 2 had cleared so the my bank declined it.  The people I would live chat to would say it was fixed, and then the next day I'd get an email saying it couldn't be authorised again....Grrrrr!!!!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Now by the time I got that sorted, some of the items had sold out online, but they are going to try and get it from a store for me.  Of course that required cancelling the order and reordering it again, so it is all a bit messy.  In the last 24 hours I haven't got an email saying it worked or didn't, so my fingers are still crossed.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;The most annoying thing is that I have made orders from there before with no dramas.  Then at sale time everything goes pear-shaped!!!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Whew I guess I needed to vent!!!&#060;/p&#062;

Card glitches like that are so frustrating.  I use the same card all the time and on a couple of occasions I have been declined, only to call the card company and they tell me that there was no request that came to them at all.  So both sides say the other side is having the glitch.  One time this happened to me while paying for a hotel room so you can imagine how I felt thinking I wouldn't have a room for the night.  I finally had to pay a different way.  The whole time the card company said we can't fix it because we don't have the problem.&#060;br /&#062;
I hope that never happens again, but I cannot gaurantee it.&#060;br /&#062;
Anyway I am sorry for you having this trouble.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;...are all of the ordering/billing variety.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;In the past few days I tried making web orders and international phone orders trying to get this thing happening.  Every single time I tried I got an error saying my card couldn't be authorised.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Then I called my bank today and asked them why and they tell me 2 different amounts have been authorised to nordstrom on the same day.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Then I get home to find an email from nordstrom saying my order couldn't be authorised.  Talk about confused.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I think/hope it is *finally* sorted out.  I have already missed the Hinge plaid jacket, and by now the ruffled blouse is only available in black - booo!!!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I made an order back in May with no glitches at all...why does this have to happen now!!
